In the late 1990's I started as a geek event photographer based in Manila. It was in doing that that I discovered that cosplay actually existed locally. Back then I remember it being done in Japan and the US only. I was happy covering events and cosplay now.
One day on my way out of an event, I was stopped by a (cosp)layer and asked if I could be their photographer for their photoshoot since their photographer suddenly couldn't make it. After the proofs of the photoshoot arrived, other layers started looking for me.
Fast forward to 12 years and over 60 produced cosplays, I continue to celebrate fandom of the characters I like by building and shooting cosplay projects, now travelling to and from Manila and Tokyo.
